  • Website security and backup: how we protect your data

A hacked website means lost visitors, a Google downgrade, and often lost data. Hosting security is multi-layered — no single tool is enough on its own. Here's how your site hosted with us is protected and what you can do about it.

Layer 1: Imunify360 — protection against attacks and malware

Imunify360 is a security system specifically designed for web servers. It blocks brute-force password attempts, finds malicious code in files, and has a web application firewall (WAF) that stops the most common attacks on WordPress, Joomla, and other systems.

Layer 2: ConfigServer Firewall

ConfigServer Firewall (CSF) controls network traffic to the server — allowing only necessary services and automatically blocking IP addresses that show suspicious behavior.

Layer 3: ClamAV Antivirus

ClamAV scans files and email attachments for known viruses and malicious files. You can also start the scan yourself from cPanel.

Layer 4: CloudLinux isolation

With CloudLinux Each hosting account is isolated from the others. Even if another site on the server is compromised, an attacker cannot access your files.

Layer 5: Monitoring

We constantly monitor the performance and status of the servers via Munin, so that problems can be noticed before you feel them.

JetBackup: automatic backups

Even with the best protection, mistakes happen — a mistakenly deleted file, a failed plugin update. That's why JetBackup automatically backs up files, databases, and emails.

How to restore a backup yourself

  1. Log in to cPanel.
  2. Open JetBackup.
  3. Choose what you're restoring: your entire account, files, databases, or emails.
  4. Select a backup date and click Restore.

What can you do?

  • Update WordPress, your theme, and plugins regularly.
  • Delete inactive plugins and themes.
  • Use strong, different passwords and two-factor login for the administrator.
  • Don't use "nulled" (pirated) themes and plugins — they often contain hidden malware.
  • Before making major changes, make a manual backup.

Secure email

Sent messages go through MailChannels, which filters spam and improves delivery, so your messages arrive in your inbox, not in spam. More about all the technologies on the site Infrastructure.
