Connect your business email to any app.
Enter your address, pick your app and copy the settings. For most people that's all.
Before you start
- 1Domain and hosting with usEmail works on every one of our hosting packages, with the domain pointed to it.
- 2A mailbox createdIf the address doesn't exist yet, create it in cPanel: Email Accounts, then + Create (step 3).
- 3The mailbox passwordNot the client panel password. If you forgot it, you change it in cPanel.
Enter your address and choose your app
Enter your address and you get the exact values for your domain. The address is processed only in your browser: it is not sent anywhere and not stored.
The password is the mailbox's, not the client panel's. You don't need an app password.
Does the app show a certificate warning?
On some domains the mail certificate is issued for the server's name, not for mail.yourdomain. Then copy the name from cPanel → Email Accounts → Connect Devices (Incoming Server) and use it instead of mail. Where is Connect Devices?

Can't find the settings? Step by step
The same settings are also in cPanel, under Connect Devices. Three steps from our site to there. Open the step you need.
1Step 1 of 3Log in to the client panel
On maxhosting.mk, click “Client panel” at the top right. On a phone it is the button with the person icon, next to the menu.
2Step 2 of 3Hosting, your service, Log in to cPanel
In the left menu choose “Hosting” and open the package your email domain is on. On the service page click “Log in to cPanel”. cPanel opens in a new tab and needs no separate password.
- The “Server” field shows your server's name. You only need it if the app warns about the certificate.
3Step 3 of 3Email Accounts, then Connect Devices
In cPanel, in the Email section, open Email Accounts. Next to the address, click Connect Devices. Under Mail Client Manual Settings, in Secure SSL/TLS Settings, you find the server, the ports and the username.
The server is usually mail.yourdomain. If the app warns about the certificate, use the server name from Connect Devices. Enter it here
- If the address isn't there, create it with + Create and set a password.
- IMAP keeps messages on the server, so they are the same on your phone and computer. Recommended.
If something does not work
The most common connection problems and what to check.
The app cannot connect to the server.
Check that the port matches the security: 993 and 465 with SSL/TLS, or 587 with STARTTLS. The most common mistake is 465 with STARTTLS or 587 with SSL/TLS.
I get a password error (authentication failed).
The username is the full address, not just the part before @. The password is the mailbox password, not the client panel one. If you are not sure, change it in cPanel → Email Accounts → Manage and try again.
The app warns about a certificate.
Don't accept the warning. On some domains the mail certificate is issued for the server's name, not for mail.yourdomain. Under the settings open “Does the app show a certificate warning?”, enter the server name from cPanel → Email Accounts → Connect Devices and turn on “Use the server instead of mail.”. Use the same name for both the incoming and the outgoing server.
I receive mail but cannot send.
The outgoing server needs a login with the same username and password: turn it on in the app. In hotels and some offices port 465 is blocked, so try 587 with STARTTLS.
My messages end up in other people's spam.
The domain needs SPF, DKIM and DMARC records. You check them in cPanel under Email Deliverability. If it shows a problem there, write to us and we will fix it.
Do I need an app password?
No. App passwords are for Google and Microsoft accounts with two-step verification. Our mailbox uses the mailbox password, which you change in cPanel.
