Today, many sites are built on WordPress. That is why they are the subject of interest of many hackers from various offers. As a hosting company, we would like to inform you about the basic steps for a more secure site:

1. Check with your hosting provider if you have an FTP account, which may have been left over from creating the website. If you don't need it, delete it.
2. Perform a complete update of all the plugins you use.
3. Update WordPress if the theme you are using allows it.
4. Update the PHP version you are using if you are able to.
5. Delete plugins that you don't use on your site and are deactivated.
6. Use WordFence plugin for greater security! NOTE: check for the latest security vulnerabilities in this plugin!
7. Change your cPANEL password and preferably use 2FA authentication to log in to cPANEL via Google Authenticator.
